The Queen Anne Building in the foreground was the Christchurch City Council's original Municipal Chambers, but is now the Our City O-Tautahi exhibition space. It is listed with the New Zealand Historic Places Trust, Register number <a rel="nofollow" class="external text" href="http://www.historic.org.nz/the-register/details?id=1844">1844</a>.The Council are currently redeveloping the former NZ Post building (the large white building in the background) as the new Civic Office Building, due for completion in mid-2010.
