Summary
This was taken April 2007 at 5:19 pm from Steptoe Butte of the Palouse Hills in Washington. At this time I was taking just jpg pictures, no RAW. I regret that. Now I'm taking RAW exclusively because so much more detail and light can be pulled out of that format.
But I still like it--this is such a unique rumpled area! The look of this area is due to many layers of silt left by multiple Missoula floods which were were topped by loess (dirt blown on top) and make for great rolling hills of farmlands.
