Summary

<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/mooncake" class="extiw" title="w:mooncake">Mooncakes</a> from <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzhou" class="extiw" title="w:Suzhou">Suzhou</a> are known for the flaky dough and come in both sweet and savoury types. Savoury mooncakes are typically filled with minced pork; here, green onions, Chinese radish, and shiitake mushroom are also added. These particular ones were made by my mother in Canada.
