Terra-cotta plaque “Spirit of Transportation” by Karl Bitter (1867–1915).
This plaque is located on the west wall of the waiting area of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/30th_Street_Station" class="extiw" title="w:30th Street Station">30th Street Station</a> in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It depicts the evolution of transportation as a triumphal procession. “Transportation” herself is riding in a chariot in the middle.
The plaque was originally installed at Broad Street Station and was moved to the present location in 1933.
