Locals walk over for their very first time <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Stari_most&action=edit&redlink=1" class="new" title="Stari most (page does not exist)">Stari most</a> during the opening in <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Mostar" title="Mostar">Mostar</a>, <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Bosnia-Herzegovina" class="mw-redirect" title="Bosnia-Herzegovina">Bosnia-Herzegovina</a>. The "Old Bridge", or Stari most, which is the towns symbol, was destroyed during the <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Balkan_war&action=edit&redlink=1" class="new" title="Balkan war (page does not exist)">Balkan war</a> in 1993. It was officially reopened for the public on <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/July_23" title="July 23">July 23</a>, <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/2004" title="2004">2004</a> after several years of reconstruction.
