Summary

Mars Orbiter Laser Altimeter (MOLA) colorized topographic map of the central part of the Tharsis volcanic province in the western hemisphere of Mars, centered on the three massive aligned shield volcanoes known as the Tharsis Montes. The even larger volcano Olympus Mons is in the upper left; the western end of the Valles Marineris canyon system is on the right.
