Indian Ocean (Sept. 24, 2004) - Intelligence Specialist 2nd Class Damon Jenkins of Los Angeles, Calif., reviews aerial reconnaissance imagery on a light table in the Carrier Intelligence Center (CVIC) aboard the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). The imagery came from the "Tomcatters" of Fighter Squadron Three One (VF-31) during their final Tactical Air Reconnaissance Pod System (TARPS) mission. TARPS was used to provide target acquisition and identification, poststrike target assessment and maritime surveillance imagery. Stennis and embarked Carrier Air Wing Fourteen (CVW-14) are currently participating in a scheduled deployment to the Western Pacific Ocean. U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 3rd Class Mark J.
