Walsh Type D. <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walsh_Brothers_Flying_Boats" class="extiw" title="en:Walsh Brothers Flying Boats">Walsh Brothers Flying Boats</a> were used to train World War I pilots in New Zealand. Image free of copyright in source; "The History of New Zealand Aviation" - R MacPherson & R Ewing, NZ copyright law applied (copyright extinguished for photograph 50 years from death of artist).
