Summary
Typical Warner properties in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walthamstow" class="extiw" title="en:Walthamstow">en:Walthamstow</a>. There are two typical patterns: houses as pictured here, and almost identical units built as flats rather than houses, each unit containing a ground floor and a first floor flat. The latter are distinguished by twin front doors, and by metal fire escapes at the rear. Formerly owned by the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warner_Estate" class="extiw" title="en:Warner Estate">en:Warner Estate</a> who painted the woodwork a uniform green and cream, as seen on the right. They are now mainly privately owned.
