Heinrich Ochs (19 April 1915 – 21 October 1943) was a highly decorated Oberleutnant in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves (German: Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes mit Eichenlaub). The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and its higher grade Oak Leaves was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Heinrich Ochs was killed on 12 October 1943 by artillery fire. He was posthumously promoted to Oberleutnant and awarded the Oak Leaves to his Knight's Cross.
