Hello Out There is the 29th studio album by singer Engelbert Humperdinck, released in 1992.

Background

Collaborating with German composer/arranger/conductor Hermann Weindorf, Engelbert co-wrote 7 songs for this album. Three of his early hits, "Release Me", "The Last Waltz", and "After the Lovin'," were re-recorded with new arrangements. "We Fell in Love" was a collaboration with Engelbert's daughter Louise Dorsey.[1] The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra featured prominently on all of these tracks.

Packaging and title

"Hello Out There" is the opening track on this album, and was also released as a single in Germany by Polydor Records.[2] The album is sub-titled "Recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra."

Release

Polydor released the album in Germany and the US in 1992; Decca released it in the UK that same year.[3] Hello Out There was not issued in vinyl LP format.
