Islamic Azad University, Bandar Anzali Branch (Persian: دانشگاه آزاد اسلامي واحد انزلی) was established in Bandar-e Anzali in 1999 (1378H).It started its activities with only 120 students. In 2010, about 5000 students in several fields were members of this branch of Islamic Azad University. The most important fields of study in this university are: architecture, civil engineering, law, fishery, mechanical engineering and management fields. Azad university of Anzali and Azad university of Lahijan are two of the most important branches of Islamic Azad University, in the province of Guilan, in northern Iran..[1]
