The Islamic Labor Party (Persian: حزب اسلامی کار‎‎) of Iran was founded in 1996 by the leaders of the Workers' House, Alireza Mahjub, Soheila Jelodarzadeh, and Rahman Tajaldin. After dissolving the previous decades of union workers[why?], home workers from labor organizations within the Labor Party were branch members of the Islamic Republic, thus removing support for the powerful Communist groups opposed to the system.

Founders

The people involved in founding the party are: Alireza Mahjub, the Tehran representative in the Iranian Parliament, Soheila Jelodarzadeh, a representative of Tehran's Fifth and Sixth Houses, and Rahman Tajaldin Isfahan representative of the Fifth House.
