Jacob Barnes (born April 14, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Milwaukee Brewers organization

Barnes played college baseball at Florida Gulf Coast University. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 14th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft.[1][2]

The Brewers added him to their 40-man roster after the 2015 season.[3]

Isan Diaz

Isan Xavier Diaz (born May 27, 1996) is an American professional baseball shortstop for the Milwaukee Brewers organization.

Diaz attended Springfield Central High School in Springfield, Massachusetts. He committed to attend Vanderbilt University to play college baseball for the Vanderbilt Commodores.[4] The Arizona Diamondbacks selected him in the second round, with the 70th overall selection, of the 2014 MLB Draft.[5] Diaz signed with the Diamondbacks rather than enroll at Vanderbilt.[6]

In 2015, Diaz played for the Missoula Osprey of the Rookie-level Pioneer League.[7] He was named the Diamondbacks' Minor League Player of the Month for July,[8] and Most Valuable Player of the Pioneer League at the end of the season.[9] MiLB.com named Diaz as the Diamondbacks' Organization All-Star at shortstop.[10]

On January 30, 2016, Diaz was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers along with Chase Anderson, Aaron Hill, and cash considerations for Jean Segura and Tyler Wagner.[11]

Diaz is originally from Puerto Rico, but his family moved to Springfield when he was four years old.[12] His father, Raul, played college baseball and instructed Isan as a child.[6]

Marcos Antonio Diplan Guzmán (born September 18, 1996) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers' organization.

The Texas Rangers signed Diplan as an international free agent in 2013, receiving a $1.3 signing bonus.[13] He pitched for the Dominican Rangers of the Dominican Summer League during the 2014 season, where he had a 7-2 win–loss record, a 1.54 earned run average, and 57 strikeouts in ​64 13 innings pitched. On January 19, 2015, the Rangers traded Diplan, Luis Sardiñas, and Corey Knebel to the Milwaukee Brewers for Yovani Gallardo.[14]

Jacob Gatewood (born September 25, 1995) is an American professional baseball shortstop in the Milwaukee Brewers organization.

Gatewood attended Clovis High School in Clovis, California.[15][16] He was the winner of the junior Home Run Derby at Citi Field on July 15, 2013.[17][18][19]

Gatewood at one point was considered a potential top overall pick in the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft.[20] He ended up getting drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers 41st overall in the draft.[21] He signed on June 14.[22]

Jeffrey Hobbs Johnson (born April 29, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Milwaukee Brewers' organization.

Johnson attended Rocky Mount High School in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, graduating in 2010.[23] He enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), where he played college baseball for the UNC Tar Heels baseball team.[24] The Milwaukee Brewers selected Johnson in the 14th round of the 2013 MLB Draft. Johnson signed with the Brewers, and reported to the Helena Brewers of the Rookie-level Pioneer League.[23]

In 2014, Johnson pitched for the Brevard County Manatees of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League.[25] Johnson began the 2015 season with the Biloxi Shuckers of the Class AA Southern League.[26]

Zack Jones

Zachary Jones (born December 4, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Milwaukee Brewers organization

Jones attended Santa Teresa High School in San Jose, California, and San Jose State University. The Minnesota Twins selected him in the fourth round of the 2012 MLB Draft. Exposed in the 2015 Rule 5 draft,[27] Jones was selected by the Brewers.[28] Jones strained his right shoulder in spring training with the Brewers, and will begin the 2016 season on the disabled list.[29]

Gilbert Lara Peguero (born October 30, 1997) is a Dominican professional baseball shortstop for the Milwaukee Brewers' organization.

The Brewers signed Lara for a $3.1 million signing bonus.[30][31] Lara made his professional debut with the Arizona Brewers of the Rookie-level Arizona League in 2015.[32]

Damien Jack Magnifico (born May 24, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Milwaukee Brewers organization.

Magnifico was drafted by the New York Mets in the fifth round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft out of North Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas.[33] He did not sign with the Mets and attended Howard College to play college baseball.[34][35] Prior to the 2012 season, he transferred to the University of Oklahoma. After one year at Oklahoma, Magnifico was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the fifth round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft.[36] He signed with the Brewers an made his professional debut with the Helena Brewers. He spent 2013 with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Brevard County Manatees, 2014 with Brevard County and 2015 with the Biloxi Shuckers. The Brewers added him to their 40-man roster after the season.[3]

Jacob Andrew Nottingham (born April 3, 1995) is an American professional baseball catcher in the Milwaukee Brewers organization.

Nottingham was drafted by the Houston Astros in the sixth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft out of Redlands High School in Redlands, California.[37] He made his professional debut that year with the Gulf Coast Astros. In 2014 he played for the Greeneville Astros and he started 2015 with the Quad Cities River Bandits.[38][39] Prior to the 2015 trade deadline, the Astros traded Nottingham and Daniel Mengden to the Oakland Athletics for Scott Kazmir.[40]

In February 2016, the Athletics traded Nottingham and Bubba Derby to the Milwaukee Brewers for Khris Davis.[41]

Nathan Orf

Nathan Orf (born February 1, 1990) is an American professional baseball designated hitter in the Milwaukee Brewers organization

Orf played college baseball at Baylor University. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Milwaukee Brewers in 2011.[42]

On August 31, 2014, when he was playing for the Brevard County Manatees, Orf played all nine positions in a game against the Dunedin Blue Jays. He became the first Manatee to ever play all nine positions. The next day, on September 1, Orf was called up to the Huntsville Stars for the playoffs.[43]

Austin Ross

Austin North Ross (born August 12, 1988) is a minor league baseball pitcher currently in the Milwaukee Brewers organization.

Prior to playing professionally, he attended Captain Shreve High School and then Louisiana State University, participating in the Cape Cod League in 2009.[44] He was drafted by the Brewers in the 8th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft, signed for a bonus of $100,000, and began his professional career that season.

He posted a 2.70 mark with 52 strikeouts in 46 2/3 innings for the Helena Brewers in 2010 and in 2011, his ERA was 5.28 between the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Brevard County Manatees - though he still won 10 games and earned a spot on Midwest League Mid-Season All-Star team. He also earned a Pitcher of the Week honor that season. In 2012, the hurler posted a 1.54 mark in three starts for the Manatees and in 2013, his ERA was 4.76 in 16 starts between the AZL Brewers and Wisconsin. For Brevard County and the Huntsville Stars in 2014, Ross was 9-8 with a 3.62 ERA in 117 innings pitched.[45] One source notes he profiles as a future middle reliever at the major league level.[46]

Tyrone Taylor

Tyrone A. Taylor (born January 22, 1994) is an American professional baseball center fielder in the Milwaukee Brewers organization.

Taylor was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the second round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft out of Torrance High School in Torrance, California.[47] He had signed to play college baseball at California State University, Fullerton, but signed with the Brewers instead.[48] He made his professional debut that year for the Helena Brewers and also played for the Arizona League Brewers. In 75 at-bats over 18 games, he hit .387/.434/.667 with two home runs. He played the 2013 season with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.[49] In 122 games, he hit .274/.338/.400 with eight home runs in 485 at-bats. Prior to the 2014 season, he was ranked by Baseball America as the Brewers second best prospect.[50] He started the season with the Brevard County Manatees. On April 29, 2014, Tyrone Taylor hit for the cycle against the Clearwater Threshers on his mother's 35th birthday. It was the first cycle in Brevard County Manatees history.

Daniel Tillman

Daniel "Dan" Tillman (born March 14, 1989) is an American professional baseball pitcher currently in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. He previously played with Los Angeles Angels and Los Angeles Dodgers minor league teams. He attended Florida Southern College.

Tillman was selected with the 81st overall pick in the 2010 Major League Baseball draft by the Los Angeles Angels. On June 20, 2010, the Angels officially signed Tillman, and the next day he was assigned to the Orem Owlz. In 22 games there, he posted a 1.95 ERA and earned 10 saves in 32 1/3 innings pitched. On April 4, 2011, he was promoted to the then Angels Class A affiliate, the Cedar Rapids Kernels. In 66 1/3 innings pitched there, he collected a 2.04 ERA and 12 saves in 15 opportunities. On August 18, 2011, he was promoted to the Advanced-A team, the Inland Empire 66ers. In seven appearances, Tillman went two-for-two in saves, won one game, and struck out eight batters. On March 26, 2014, the 66ers and Angels released Tillman. [51] The Los Angeles Dodgers signed Tillman to a minor-league deal on April 2nd, 2014. [52] With Advanced A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes and Double AA Tulsa Drillers, his won-loss record was 1-4, and compiled a 2.76 ERA in 48 relief appearances with seven saves. On November 6, 2015, Tillman elected his free agency and was later signed by the Milwaukee Brewers to a minor-league deal on December 14, 2015.[53]
