Jamuna Group is one of the largest Bangladeshi industrial conglomerates. The industries under this conglomerate include Textiles, Chemicals, Leather, Consumer products, Media, Advertisement etc.[1]

Jamuna was established in the 1970s by Nurul Islam Babul, an architect, a pioneer ultimately an Industrial leader in the private sector.

Nurul Islam Babul is a Bangladeshi business magnate[1] and politician of the Awami League party. He is considered one of the wealthiest men in Bangladesh.[2]

Best known for the Jamuna Group and Jamuna Future Park, Babul is also the owner of the Bangla daily Jugantor.
