Javad Mahjoub (Persian: جواد محجوب‎‎, born in Mashhad) is an Iranian judoka.

He competed for Iran at the following tournaments:

Mahjoub acknowledged in a 2011 interview with an Iranian newspaper that he threw a match against a German judoka to avoid competing against an Israeli athlete. "If I refused to compete with the Israeli, they would have suspended our judo federation for four years", he said.[3] In September 2011 he refused to face Israeli Or Sasson at the Judo World Cup in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.[4][5] In the 2012 Summer Olympic Games (where he might have had to face Israeli judoka Arik Ze'evi) he withdrew from competition at the last moment. Iranian authorities announced that he had a "critical digestive system infection".[6]
