Josiah Abigail Patterson Campbell

Josiah Abigail Patterson Campbell (March 2, 1830 – January 10, 1917) was a prominent Confederate States of America politician.

He was born in Camden, South Carolina. He later moved to Mississippi and served in the state legislature in 1851 and 1859. He was elected to the Provisional Confederate Congress (1861–1862) and served as its President pro tempore. He served as a colonel in the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. He later served as Chief Justice of the Mississippi Supreme Court from 1891 to 1894.
