Karl-Friedrich Robert Künzel (11 September 1918 – 25 December 1998) was a German naval officer and a Schnellboot commander and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (German: Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes)in World War II. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
