The Kia Potentia is a full-size luxury car four-door rear wheel drive sedan manufactured by Kia Motors to compete with the Daewoo Arcadia and Hyundai Grandeur and marketed in South Korea. This car was based on the Mazda Luce. The style of the Luce was particularly apparent in the 1990 model. The Potentia was made from 1992 to 2001, making this car one of the longest-running Korean cars ever made. Engine choices included a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder Mazda FE-DOHC engine, which was the same as the first generation Kia Sportage's gasoline version, 2.2 liter 4-cylinder and a 3.0 liter V6 called the President trim package.
