Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Kurt Möhring (3 January 1900 – 18 December 1944) was a highly decorated Generalleutnant in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Kurt Möhring was killed on 18 December 1944 in Befort, Luxembourg, during the Battle of the Bulge. He was posthumously promoted to Generalleutnant.
