Museum of Thieves

Goldie Roth lives in the city of Jewel, where impatience is a sin and boldness is a crime. But Goldie is both bold and impatient. She runs away to the mysterious Museum of Dunt, where she meets a boy named Toadspit mua eum's corridors, and only a thief can find their way through its strange, shifting rooms.

Goldie and Toadspit have a talent for thieving. Which is just as well, because the treacherous Fugleman has his own plans for the museum - plans that threaten the lives of everyone Goldie loves. And it will take a bold thief to stop him.

City of lies

Goldie Roth is a trained thief and a skilled liar. Along with her friend Toadspit, she's supposed to be one of the Keepers of the mysterious Museum of Dunt. But although she desperately wants to be a Keeper, she will not leave her sick parents to do so. But when Toadspit's sister Bonnie is stolen, he and Goldie are forced to follow the child-stealers to the neighboring city of Spoke. Along the way, Toadspit too is captured, and Goldie is caught up in the Festival of Lies, where every word she says means something else and no one can be trusted. There, Goldie discovers some dangerous secrets—secrets that the child-stealers will kill to protect. She will need all her skills as a thief and a liar if she is to survive and save her friends.

Path of Beasts

When Goldie, Toadspit and Bonnie steal back into Jewel in the middle of the night they find their city under the heel of the Fugleman, and the streets controlled by an army of ruthless mercenaries. The Museum of Dunt is seething with danger, and only the older Keepers prevent it from spilling out into the city. Goldie, Toadspit and Bonnie will have to use all their clever tricks and hard-won bravery to fight the Fugleman's brutal regime.

In order to defeat the Fugleman once and for all, Goldie must walk the Beast Road, an ancient pathway deep inside the Museum, a pathway so secret and perilous that no one has ever returned from it. According to the old stories, she can take only two companions, and they must be mortal enemies ...

Ice Breaker

Petrel leaned on the rail, watching the ice cave and stamping her feet for warmth. The berg came closer. That's when she saw him. Laid out on the ice like a dead fish, with a scattering of snow covering his face. A boy, where there should have been nothing but the memory of winter. A frozen boy.

Twelve-year-old Petrel, also known as 'Nothing Girl,' is an outcast, the lowest of the low on the Oyster, an ancient icebreaker that has been following the same course for three hundred years. In that time, the ship's crew has forgotten its original purpose and broken into three warring tribes. Everyone has a tribe except Petrel, whose parents committed such a terrible crime that they were thrown overboard, and their daughter ostracised.

But Petrel is a survivor. She lives in the dark corners of the ship, speaking to no one except two large grey rats, Mister Smoke and Missus Slink. Then a boy is discovered, frozen on an iceberg, and Petrel saves him, hoping he'll be her friend. What she doesn't know is that for the last three hundred years, the Oyster has been guarding a secret.

A secret that the boy has been sent to destroy, along with the ship and everyone on it...
