List of A-League head coaches
The A-League is the top level professional association football league in Australia. The league was established by Football Federation Australia in 2004 as a successor to the National Soccer League and commenced in August 2005. Since the start of the league there have been a total of 62 head coach appointments in the 13 (currently 10) clubs. Some of the people have served spells as caretaker (temporary) coaches in the period between a managerial departure and appointment. Several caretaker head coaches have gone on to secure a permanent managerial post.
Note that head coaches may have served a club of a different name due to a change in the clubs name: Brisbane Roar formally Queensland Roar prior to the 2009–10 season, and Melbourne City formally Melbourne Heart prior to the 2014–15 season.
