Luther Swift Dixon (June 17, 1825 – December 6, 1891) was chief justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.[1]

Dixon was born in Milton, Vermont.[2] He moved to Portage, Wisconsin, in 1851, served as district attorney of Columbia County, Wisconsin, and in 1858 was appointed a judge of the Wisconsin Circuit Court. In 1859, he was appointed Chief Justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court by Alexander Randall. He held the position until 1874, and died in 1891 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
