MacLaren or Maclaren is a surname of Scottish and northern Irish origin. The name is an Anglicisation of the Gaelic Mac Labhrainn meaning "son of Labhrann". The Gaelic personal name Labhrann is a Gaelicised form of Lawrence.[1]
