Macaroni Pie is a Caribbean dish developed in the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago during the sugar cane field riots. It is also known to have Scottish ancestries and instead they use an actual pie shell to fill with macaroni and cheese. North America calls this dish baked macaroni and cheese though similar but different processes.
