Magda Berndsen
Magdalena Adriaantje (Magda) Berndsen-Jansen (born May 4, 1950 in Leiden) is a Dutch former politician and police officer. As a member of Democrats 66 (D66) she was an MP between June 17, 2010 and November 1, 2015. She focused on matters of safety, judiciary and police.
Berndsen was mayor of Obdam and Beverwijk, and corps chief of Gooi en Vechtstreek Police and Friesland Police.
In September 2015 it was announced Berndsen would leave the House of Representatives as of 1 November 2015.[1] She was replaced by Judith Swinkels.[2]
