Marc Planus (born 7 March 1982) is a French football central defender. He is 1.83 metres (6 ft 0 in) tall.

Club career

Bordeaux

He participated in his first game in League on 9 November 2002, against Rennes. Planus debuted in the 2002/03 season and played seventeen games in Ligue 1.[2]

It was the first of more than 200 league matches. In 2006/07 and 2008/09 he won the Coupe de la Ligue and in both 2008/09 and 2009/10 he won the Trophee des Champions.

International career

Planus was called up for the French squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, although France was eliminated in the group stage. In 2010 he played his first game for the French national team. He played his first match against Tunisia.
