Middlesbrough Priory

Middlesbrough Priory was a priory in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, England. Founded in 1119 be Robert De Brus as a Benedictine house.[1] It was forcibly closed in 1573 under the Dissolution of the Monasteries.[2]

No trace remains of the priory and its location was a few yards north of the Old Town Hall and just south of the Transporter Bridge site.[1]
