Milan Štěch (born 13 November 1953) is a Czech politician and former trade union leader.[1] He was a member of Czechoslovakian Communist Party between 1978 and 1989. He has been a member of the Senate since its establishment in 1996[2] and also currently serves as the chamber's President.[3] He is a member of the Social Democratic Party.[3]
