"Moments of Transition" is an episode from the fourth season of the science-fiction television series Babylon 5.
Synopsis
Delenn ends the Minbari civil war. Lyta tries to find work as a telepath, but finds her rogue status makes it difficult to get a paying job.
The Minbari civil war is finally over. Neroon sacrifices himself to save Delenn, and makes a deathbed conversion to the religious caste. Delenn reinstates the Grey Council, but this time the worker caste dominates the council. Five worker caste members hold seats on the council, with two each from the warrior and religious caste.
John Sheridan learns that forces loyal to President Morgan Clark have been engaged in illegal attacks on civilian targets. He decides the time has come to take direct action against Clark and those in Earth Force who followed him.
Arc significance
- Lyta rejoins the Psi Corps
- Earth forces are committing atrocities on civilians, forcing Sheridan to escalate the resistance into open war.
- Minbari civil war ends with Neroon sacrificing himself to save Delenn.
- Delenn re-establishes the Minbari Grey Council, this time with 5 workers, 2 warriors, and 2 from the religious caste.
