The tables on this page represents Latter-day Saint membership as reported by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as of December 31, 2015.[1] According to the church, the membership count includes adults and children; active and inactive members are part of the count. Except where indicated, general population figures are based on the latest CIA estimates (primarily for July 2015).[2] Percentages of LDS members were calculated with this information. The link under the names of each country, territory, etc. corresponds to brief LDS history and statistical information for that particular area. In 2015 by the LDS count, membership exceeded 15.6 million.[1] The number of stakes, districts, congregations were taken from the Meetinghouse Locator.[3]
