Hospitals

A new acute hospital built on the western fringes of Larbert will replace Falkirk, and, Stirling Infirmaries. NHS Forth Valley reported that this hospital had been granted royal status on 15 January 2010. Named Forth Valley Royal Hospital, it has opened to its first patients in summer 2010 and the transfer of services is expected to finish in summer 2011.[1]
