Natalia Stanislavovna Vieru (Russian: Наталья Станиславовна Виеру; born 25 July 1989) is a Moldavian-born Russian basketball player. She is a member of the Russia women's national basketball team[1] and competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics.[2] Apart from the national team she plays for the Russian club UMMC Ekaterinburg as a center. UMMC Ekaterinburg was one of the most successful russian clubs in the last few years.
National team
With her height of 2.00 m (6 ft 7 in) she is currently the tallest player in the Russian national team (2015/2016).[3] Her team placed fourth at the 2012 Olympics, but did not qualify for the 2016 Games, placing sixth at the 2015 Eurobasket, which served as the qualifying tournament for the Olympics.
