Necrosauridae is an extinct family of varanoid lizards from the Late Cretaceous to the Eocene of Europe, North America, and Asia.[1] It was first established by the German taxonomist Robert Hoffstetter in 1943.[2] The included genera can vary depending on the author. They usually include:[3][1]
