Nikita Howarth (born 24 December 1998) is a New Zealand Paralympic swimmer. On her debut at the 2012 Summer Paralympics, Howarth became New Zealand's youngest ever Paralympian at age 13 years 8 months. In 2013, she won a gold medal and a bronze medal at the IPC Swimming World Championships in Montreal.[1][2]
Howarth was born in Hamilton, with a bilateral upper limb deficiency; both her arms end below the elbow and she has no hands.[1] She resides in the nearby satellite town of Cambridge and is a student at Cambridge High School.[3]
