Norman Sherry (born 6 July 1925 in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England) is an English born American novelist, biographer, and educator who is most well known for his three-volume biography of the British novelist Graham Greene. He was professor of English literature at Lancaster University.

Sherry is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature. He has also written on Joseph Conrad, Charlotte and Emily Brontë, and Jane Austen. Volume 1 of his Life of Graham Greene, and volume 2 "one of the Best Eleven Books of 1995" by the editors of The New York Review of Books.[citation needed]

Since 1983, Sherry has held the post of Mitchell Distinguished Professor of Literature at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.

He was formerly married to the children's novelist Sylvia Sherry.
