North McNary is an unincorporated community in Benton County, Washington, United States, located immediately north of Umatilla, Oregon on the north bank of the Columbia River near McNary Dam.[4]
The community was established in 1947 as a delivery point for construction materials for construction of McNary Dam. The dam was named by railroad officials in honor of U.S. Senator Charles L. McNary of Oregon.[4][5]
