The Office of Justice Programs (OJP) is an agency of the United States Department of Justice that focuses on crime prevention through research and development, assistance to state and local law enforcement and criminal justice agencies through grants, and assistance to crime victims.

The Office of Justice Programs is headed by an Assistant Attorney General.[1] Karol V. Mason was nominated to be Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Justice Programs by President Barack Obama on February 13, 2013.[2] Mason was confirmed by the United States Senate on April 25, 2013.[2]
