partapur is second largest town after Banswara in Banswara district which is a part of wagad area in Rajasthan. wagari is the local dialect of people staying in Partapur and surrounding areas. The village has now turned into a town after merger of nearby villages like Garhi, Navapadar, Kheran ka Parda,Dadooka,semaliya, etc. There are many Hindu Temple in which the main temple of Partapur is Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh temple on Bus stand (Purneshwar, Bhagoreshwar, LakshmiNarayan), four Jain Temples and four Mosques. And also Galiakot and Banswara are the two nearby religious places for the Bohras. and another two river sangam of mahi and chap rivers in nearest village chaupasag.
