Paul R. Ramsey (also known as ramzpaul and RamZPaul) is an American vlogger, YouTube personality and public speaker.

Ramsey has described himself as a nationalist and supports the right of all ethnic groups to their own homelands, but focuses on social and political issues facing whites.

Personal Life

Ramsey is of overwhelmingly Northwestern European ancestry according to genetic testing, with the two largest ancestry groups shown as "British & Irish" and "French & German."[2] His last name comes from his Scottish ancestry, while one of his grandmothers had the English last name Jones.[3]

He is engaged to his YouTube cohost Sacha.[4]

Video Content

He has been active on YouTube since 7 June 2008 and from 27 May 2018 to April 2020 hosted a weekly series called Happy Homelands with Finnish nationalist activist Tiina Wiik.[5][6] On April 9 2020 he announced that he had parted ways with Wiik, and was replacing her with American libertarian nationalist YouTuber Tarl Warwick, known as Styxhexenhammer666.[7] Wiik noted that they had different ideas for the direction of the show, with Ramsey planning to take "a more mainstream route."[8]

As of 20 May 2020 Ramsey also co-hosts another weekly YouTube show, The Sacha and Paul Show, with a woman by the name of Sacha.[9]

On 8 January 2021 Ramsey announced that Warwick could no longer co-host Happy Homelands due to other commitments.[10] On 9 January he announced that Sacha would be his new co-host.[11][12]

In December 2017, Ramsey announced that he was partnering with Ron Unz and his video content would now be available on The Unz Review.[13]

Public Speaking

Ramsey has addressed four conferences of the white identitarian organization American Renaissance, beginning in 2013, on topics including "sex and nationalism" and "the alt-right."[14][15][16][17][18] He was a featured speaker at the November 2016 National Policy Institute conference, an organization headed by identitarian spokesman Richard B. Spencer.[19]

Views

Ramsey has been critical of the governmental response to the COVID-19 outbreak, arguing that it is dangerous, ineffective,[20] and disproportionate to the threat.[21] He compares the death rate of the virus to that of the flu[22][23] and has expressed concern that lockdown measures have little effect on the death rate[20] but will cause an economic depression.[24] He also argues that the lockdown will cause an increase in deaths from other causes,[25] including deaths of despair and a lack of medical care for other conditions,[21] as well as being a violation of individual liberties.[26]

Ramsey has argued for restrictions on pornography, such as requiring identification to verify that viewers are adults.[27] He argues that pornography desensitizes the user and rewires the brain to a juvenile state,[28] and that the loss of traditional boundaries around sexuality inevitably leads to the collapse of a civilization.[27]

Ramsey has criticized central planning of the economy, both in the context of historical communist states and in modern liberal democracies. This includes contemporary government policies to shut down "non-essential" businesses during the coronavirus epidemic.[25]

Ramsey argues for eugenic policies such as tax incentives to encourage healthy and intelligent people to have more children, while discouraging the less intelligent from reproducing. He suggests that "people who commit horrible crimes ... should probably be sterilized," and says the same of those who have more than one illegitimate child.[29]

Ramsey has criticized the tendency of the ADL, a Jewish pressure group, to promote their own ethnic national identity in connection with the state of Israel, while denigrating similar aspirations on the part of white people. He argues that all peoples deserve a territory where they will comprise the majority and have self-determination. He also criticizes the tendency to use the term "anti-Semitic" to discourage discussion of such issues.[30]

Ramsey is opposed to public rallies, arguing that protesters cannot influence policy in the way they intend and are easily presented by the mainstream media as extremist.[31]

Ramsey criticizes US military intervention in the Middle East, arguing that it is carried out on behalf of Israel. He considers this to be due to a combination of pressure from the pro-Israel lobby group AIPAC and Christian Zionism, which he considers a misinterpretation of Christianity.[32]
