Paul Strobel (9 April 1909 – 19 September 1943) was a highly decorated Hauptmann in the Luftwaffe during World War II, and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Paul Strobel was killed on 19 September 1943 over Orsha, Belarus. He was posthumously awarded the Knight's Cross on 26 March 1944.
