Penketh High School is a secondary school, which contains a sixth form, in Penketh, Warrington. It is a coed, non-denominational school for 11-18 year old children. The school has a partnership with Kwadeda High School in South Africa who helped to produce another feature film called 'The Opportunity' which was targeted at teenage audiences to make them aware of HIV, drugs and other problems that are high risk factors in South Africa. [1] The film was premiered at Liverpool Football Club and received notable recognition for the mass project undertaken by the schools media director Mr J. Kay and Learning For Life teacher Miss Gibson. The school converted to academy status on 1 April 2013.
