Peter Burrell (6 August 1692 – 16 April 1756)[1] was a British politician.

He was the son of Peter Burrell and his wife Isabella Merrik, second daughter of John Merrik, and older brother of Sir Merrick Burrell, 1st Baronet.[2] Burrell was sub-governor of the South Sea Company.[3] He sat as Member of Parliament (MP) for Haslemere from 1722 to 1754[1] and for Dover from 1755 to his death in 1756.[4]

On 14 March 1723, he married Amy Raymond, daughter of Hugh Raymond.[2] They had four sons and two daughters.[3] His oldest son Peter represented Launceston and Totnes in the British House of Commons,[5] while his third son William was also returned for Haslemere and succeeded later his father-in-law as baronet.[6]
