Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Philip Ayckbourn (born Burnham, Bucks) is an English actor, director and playwright. He is the son of playwright Sir Alan Ayckbourn.

Ayckbourn trained for three years at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). In 1998, he and fellow RADA alum Judi Armstrong founded Quorum Theatre Company for which Ayckbourn has written and directed many of his own one act plays.

In 2009 he and Kristina Anne Howell founded PCK Productions which tours Ayckbourn's plays in the UK.
