Polish presidential election in 1926 took place on May 31 by the National Assembly and were held in a single round. The elections were held soon after the so-called "May Coup" when Pilsudski overthrew the government led by the President of Poland Wojciechowski. Those elections were, however, unsuccessful as Pilsudski refused the position. This led to the Polish presidential election, June 1926.
Candidates
