Polymita, is a genus of large, air-breathing land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Helminthoglyptidae.[1]

These snails are endemic to Cuba.

Anatomy

Polymita creates and uses love darts as part of its mating behavior.
