Prosigoj (Serbian: Просигој, Greek: Προσηγόης,[2] Latin: Prosegoes[1]) was a 9th-century Serbian Prince (Knez) that ruled the Serbian Principality (Rascia) from 822 to 836.[1][3]

Biography
He was the son of Radoslav.[2] Prosigoj or his father was the ruler of Serbia during the uprisings (819–822) of Ljudevit Posavski against the Franks.[4] According to the Royal Frankish Annals, in 822, Ljudevit went from his seat in Sisak to the Serbs somewhere in western Bosnia who controlled a great part of Dalmatia ("Sorabi, quae natio magnam Dalmatiae partem obtinere dicitur").[5] At this time, there was peace with Bulgaria.[4]
His son, Vlastimir, is the founder of the Vlastimirović dynasty, the first recognized dynasty of Serbia.
