Ramnagar is one of the central part in Hyderabad, India.
It is mainly a residential area which was once located very near to industries like VST (Vazeer Sultan Tobacco, Golkunda Cigarette factory and Charminar Cigarette factory which comprisingly is called Azamabad Industrial area). It is 2 km from Osmania University, RTC Cross Road, Musheerabad residential area and 5 km from Secunderabad Railway Station. All the listed things are within 10 km circumference from Hussain Sagar Lake, Tankbund, Nampally, Necklace Road, Secretariat, Reserve bank, AG office, Telephone bavan, Birla mandir, Gymkana, paradise, Rani Gunj, Begumpet, koti, abids, Dilsuknagar, Tarnaka, Ravindra Bharathi and name any old landmark(salarjung museum, charminar, mecca masid). Of course it is very far from outskirts like Kukatpally, Jedimetla and Samshabad.

Ramnagar has two interesting landmarks, one is Ramnagar Chowrastha, chowrashta means "X" Road, although there is no X road, but it was famously known as Chowrastha. The other one is Community Hall, which was the only place to perform the marriages and other functions for the people of surrounding areas. Over time, it transformed into an E-seva and the building is serving the people in other ways.
Srinivasa show room is very famous at Ramnagar for shopping.
Transport
The TSRTC it has bus depo,hence buses transport to all parts of the city.
The closest MMTS Train station is at Jamia Osmania. famous st.pious x girls school from past 50years, several others schools like mothers high school,luna high school,holy trinty etc sowmya hospital is only the hosiptal here.
