STX Offshore & Shipbuilding (Korean: STX조선해양) is a South Korean shipbuilding company. It is the world's fourth largest shipbuilder,[1] owning STX Europe, Europe's second largest shipbuilding group. It has built about 700 ships over the last 40 years in Busan and Jinhae.
The company filled for bankruptcy on 27th, May 2016.[2]
