Sanghera (pronounced as Sangaerha) is a surname of Jatt people of Punjab. The Sikh Sanghera Jatts were originally found in great large numbers in Jalandhar, Amritsar, Ludhiana, and Hoshiarpur districts of the Punjab in India. The Muslim Sanghera Jatts were mainly found in Sialkot, Gujranwala, Shiekhupura and Lyallpur districts of the Punjab in Pakistan.
